This little cat was so small, yet so large in my life. I’ve never met a soul so engaging and full of love as Duck’s; cat, human, or otherwise. Maybe it’s true that the brightest lights burn the fastest. I will remember him for his little nose kisses, for his raspy meow, for the way he would curl up by my head at night, for being with me always, and so much more. I hope there are lots of bushes to fall asleep under in the afterlife, little man. I love you so much Duckling, sweet dreams.
