Oh my gosh everyone. I don't give a fuck if lensa sparks gender euphoria - I am learning so much right now that I feel like my head is going to explode! I have taken down my ai reel after doing a lot of reading about the ins and outs of #lensa - sharing this to help educate others about this specific app potentially engaging in art theft. Please head to the account of @jonlamart and/or @megraeart to understand more about the app - make your decision as to whether or not you want to take yours down to. I am not trying to shun ai generated art, and don't think it should be, but I do want the voices of visual artists to be heard on this, specifically because of how cheap it is to generate a lot of images versus paying an artist for their work. My understanding of this too now is that issue is also complex, but I wanted to take my images down. This is how it knows how to mimic art styles. It’s unethical, and Big tech is behind this ripping off artists everywhere for $8 a pop. This is what normalizing data/art thievery looks like.
