Sunday marked one whole year of working for myself. Loads of major moments and super hard to narrow it down to just 10 slides. Massively proud of this. Did this 100% independent. No agents or managers. But of course none of this ever coulda happened without the support of the people. Feel so grateful I literally get to live out my dreams on a daily basis. @diet_paratha is the global home for the showcasing the best of the best in south Asian talent and creativity. A resource used for creative research, casting, hiring, by publications and the culture - to help put our people on. Platforming brown people who are really good at what they do without pandering to the white gaze through stereotypes. A place of discovery and opportunity that’s helped shift the way south Asian people are viewed in western media. Alongside many other platforms of course! @daytimers_uk and @dialledin_ to name a few of the greats over the last two years or so. Thank you massively to the endless list of people who’ve shown love or offered support to help build and grow a platform with worldwide cultural significance and huge importance.
