NYC friends, you've asked us again and again and again if you can come by the farm to grab some of our spent blocks. It's finally happening, thanks to our amazing farm team and friends at @newyorkmyc! We'll start off by hosting a monthly spent block pick up (the first one is on Friday!) at our Brooklyn farm and see how it goes from there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For new folks: a spent block is a block that has gone through one cycle of growth on our farm. Usually, we hand them off to our compost friends. However, many of our spent blocks can produce more mushrooms, be added to your garden, or even used for wild weird art projects. RSVP in our bio!
