Today we mourn the loss of Hilary Mantel. Considered one of the greatest English novelists of the century, she was awarded the prestigious Booker Prize for two of the titles in her trilogy on Thomas Cromwell, Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. A law student turned social worker turned author, she wrote 17 books, ranging from a memoir to short stories, set in historical and contemporary times.
