Finally sharing something I originally shot and conceived for Lonely Planet many moons ago.
Nestled on a sloping street in Kagurazaka Tokyo, you’ll find chef Takeshi Inoue busy at work creating the beautifully delicate and intricate traditional Japanese confectionery known as ‘Wagashi’.
With skills passed down from both his grandfather and father, he now runs the store that has been family-owned for over 3 generations.
Really enjoyed observing and documenting such a skilled artisan at work and looking forward to filming more stuff like this again soon.
