#CNMISustainableFashionAwards - @teddy_quinlivan awarding Oasi Zegna with The Biodiversity Conservation Award: The Ermenegildo Zegna Group, founded in 1910, has its history strictly linked to its territory, Piedmont, in Northern Italy. Biodiversity conservation has only recently become a major keypoint within the fashion industry. Zegna, however, has taken an active role since 1930, when they started an extensive land restoration project in the Alps, the Oasi Zegna, an ongoing project aiming to safeguard the ecosystem, to take care of the environment and to replace the vegetation according to the current climate conditions in the area. Driven by the founder’s vision, Oasi Zegna is committed to land conservation and by consequence improving the life quality of the local community.
