Ceremony has always been a true nature to me and the more I listen to spirit by allowing myself to step into my truest element & access what the people of that space need I am able to witness the power in sharing my ancestral gifts with community. And that is real joy. In 2018 at 23 years of age during my first art residency in LA I experienced a powerful spiritual shift. With spirit, I was able to share my passions outside of the work I’ve been know for with @blackgirlmagik. That was the moment I recognized in totality that I am more than what I produce or create. All that I create is a reflection of my heart, vessel of ancestral remembrance and container of love. I am so thankful for the moments that allowed me to marinate in that understanding. I am so thankful for the time to process and really sit with it. Pictured above is tender moments from a ceremony I led for shedding energies, beliefs and clearing physical formations of baggage.
