officially leaving my people-pleasing era, which i talk about in depth in my upcoming newsletter. i used to try so hard to be likeable just so i wouldn’t have to be lonely. i ended up feeling lonelier in my surface-level relationships. i’m finally realising that i value honesty and depth way more than being liked by those who have no desire to really know me. that requires moving through relationships and inevitable conflict with compassion and consistent accountability. honesty and boundaries bring us closer together, and your truths deserve to be loved!
