It was an honor to welcome U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, to campus today for a talk hosted by @publicdiplomacy. While there are many reasons to be extremely concerned about climate change, Secretary Kerry told co-moderator @Montana.Denton and me that he is an optimist who believes that a low to no carbon future is possible. “The transition” Sec Kerry said “can be faster and easier than we think.”
