Staycations are always a good idea. 🛏 @themchotel is located in the heart of Montclair, NJ (45 minutes outside of NYC) and surrounded by a variety of art galleries, museums, shops, gardens, restaurants, and more...perfect for locals and tourists alike. The 159 room hotel is part of Marriott’s International’s Autograph Collection Hotels and home to an on-site art collection and to Montclair’s only rooftop bar Alto. It has stunning views of the NYC skyline.🥂 You can also enjoy delicious eats by @chefjoetartamella_ at the downstairs bar and restaurant Allegory, or upstairs at Alto. I enjoyed so many tasty entrees and snacks during my stay, but I think the fresh pasta with the sauce from home grown tomatoes was my favorite! My suite was great, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, and the food, drinks, and atmosphere were all wonderful. Just the couple of days away that I needed.🧘🏼‍♀️ My 2-night stay flew by but I did manage to stop by @vanvleckhouseandgardens, @montclairbrew, @portamontclair, and more which were all walking distance.
