- I came to New York Fashion week to my picture on a billboard in Times Square. - Since then, I’ve walked in 3 shows. - Showing up in #nyfw with a chest covered in scars and at an age that is different than most who grace the runway,,,, comes with challenges. - But not one of those challenges has to do with my self-esteem or worthiness - I’m here to show women- all women that beauty is an inside job. That your worth is not dependent on ANYONE else’s opinion of you. - I am here to show that illness, pain, trauma is traumatic but it doesn’t have to be paralyzing. - It takes a huge collective of individuals to change society’s old cultural rules.
