Hello from Disney world⭐️✌🏾. Dear 2022, I won’t forget you. So many big moments handheld by a couple L’s. Truly a year of balance and growth. I’m a lucky egg. I released an album, played more than a 100 shows(🇨🇦🇬🇧🇫🇷🇸🇪🇺🇸) produced beautiful records, I headlined a national tour which blew my fucking mind. Other things happened to, but man I toured so much. In 2022 I made some new friends, and opened for artists I’ve admired since forever. To @courtneymelba @thenational @phoebebridgers and @notcarseatheadrest - thank you for letting me and my band briefly be part of your worlds. Still can’t believe I played with the national. In real life. The coolest thing about this year though is actually getting through it. When you see the dates on the calendar you don’t really know what it’ll bring. Who will step up. Who might let you down. You sort of just say - “yes - I will do this.” And I’m so proud of myself and everyone in my family and on my team who DID IT with me. (Special s/o to @alechanleybemis and @krisirvingchen for letting me crash it really helps.). Going into 2023 I can confidently say that I’ll still be doing whatever I want. Making whatever I think sounds good. I’m a big planner so I’m always thinking about what worked and what didn’t. But for the first time in my life I feel like I’m in a direction that feels right. Big affirmation energy.
