Thank You Prt. 1 Started and stopped writing this many times because I honestly would cry like every instance I tried to type it out . But alas...lol A little time has passed since DEMF and it’s honestly still a very unreal feeling that I got to conjure some sounds not once but twice for Return to the Source 2022... Many don’t know, but I spent a good amount of time working the other end of NWB over the last 5 years as backstage security (shout out Jed James). I rarely spoke about the deejaying/parties I was doing back in Cleveland because that wasn’t the task, security was. And to be frank all the way up until I was asked by BMG I didn’t have it registered as a personal life possibility. It’s a chain of events for me whose existence has added an increment of much needed self trust that I’ve had to rebuild while on this continuing journey... Here’s video from the first two nights at Tangent, including seeing Krusane kill it outside. The rest is Tresor where @russellelbutler and myself got to close out the Gallery! We were joined by absolute legends @whodat_detroit, Anthony Shakir, @claudeyoungjr, @undergroundresistance313, @batu_timedance, @ectomorphit,and @danielbell_music 🤯 for a night I’m still infinitely grateful to have been on. I never thought I would have seen my name next to alot of these people 🙈 More to say in Part II but for now its just one huge 💖THANK YOU💖 to @__bbmmgg__, @erikadotnet, @amber.gillen, and the rest of the @ithqdetroit family for supporting what I’m trying to do with this music.
