It’s the final day of #creativemay and I’m going to pat myself on the back for crafting and sharing 19 new posts this month, and applaud any of you that also partook in the challenge. Juggling a full-time job with so much extra online time was daunting, and I aimed to post 15 times only. But as I had hoped before I started, expanding my creative productivity actually helped me maintain a feeling of balance with my increased day-job responsibilities this month. Being busy in both realms of my life prevented me from feeling overwhelmed in one and lacking in the other. It’s fitting that the last post of the month features some of my favourite photos that I took this month, a client-friend shoot for @wandwoodsstudio. It also happens to be the launch day for their sustainable linen clothing line. The morning we met up was so unexpectedly perfect it felt like one of those days that the universe is screaming through any of your self-doubt to make this declaration: “You have made the right decisions in your life to get to this exquisite moment. Those steps that you faltered and stumbled on and doubted have led to this one point that couldn’t fathomably be better. With nowhere else you’d rather be, your past decisions are validated. Let this peace settle under your skin so you can approach your next decisions with renewed self-assurance and hope.” If a morning could talk, that’s what a foggy one would say to me. . . PS except for this day, can you believe all I wore and posted this month was white?! 😂 I don’t know what happened but I guess now I’m a bride of nature account. . .
