BRITTNEY GRINER IS FREE. This morning, news outlets announced that Griner had been freed from imprisonment in Russia in a pre-negotiated prisoner swap. Brittney’s wife, Cherelle, was with @POTUS to hear the news herself (see slide two). President Biden confirmed that Brittney seemed in good spirits when he spoke with her, that she is safe, and that she’s en route back to the United States.
