Cueñas, Barangay 69. A last minute trip to the Philippines, a few messages to my brother @iammikeswift , a quick design in the plane coming in, and boom ! Here it is, the first Asphalt Chronicles court in Pasay, Metro Manila. While here I had the chance to connect with Mike’s friends, young revolutionaries revamping basketball courts throughout the country. @thestreethoopsph @dimitri.otto & @rockyrizal.ig - a multi-talented and resourceful trio already counting 150 court renovations. After shopping for tools and shades of grey paint we spent 12 hours on two days to refresh this beautiful court in Barangay 69, the heart of a lively community that supported us, took part in the project and opened up their home to us !!! So after few hours and effort glad to see the community use this court and hopefully it will bring joy and emancipation to hundreds of kids. Looking forward to my next trip here to paint the massive wall behind and shoot around with the youth. 🎥 @dimitri.otto
