Somersaulting my way through the struggle 🤸‍♀️ #adecembertoremember #keepinitreal Hi friends 🥹 I inadvertently took an almost month-long hiatus from posting & highly debated posting this, but it really didn’t feel right to come back without sharing with you how December’s really been going, so let’s catch up, yeah? At the beginning of the month, my healthy, happy, & active Papa suffered a stroke. I was lucky enough to recognize the symptoms over the phone, drive over, and rush him to the hospital—a chance I didn’t get to have with my mom when she had her aneurysm. Since then, we’ve been taking it day by day with Papa and we’re finding our new routine together. It’s been a trauma-healing & life-altering experience that has me readjusting + reevaluating my priorities, passions, and purpose. And what better time to do it than before the new year? 🥲 The struggle has been real, but I’ll be damned if I don’t turn it into strength and motivation for you & me to keep going.
