cute things from my trip ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ + some tips for shopping in Tokyo/South Korea! 🛍️ (helpful if ur a shopping addict like me lol) 1. bring a completely empty suitcase!!! 100% necessary bc you *will* buy more than you’re planning to haha 2. save the huge/mega trinket stores for the last few days (daiso, jewelry shops, etc.) going to these places after you’ve already done a majority of your shopping prevented me from overbuying cheap things i didn’t truly want or need! 👌🏻 3. if you’re going to Tokyo PLEASE go to Harajuku & Laforet. plan an entire day for exploring bc it’s worth it, trust me! 4. if you’re in South Korea n wanna be bougie on a budget, the Paju outlets are worth the trip! (abt 1 hour north of Seoul) there’s lots of incredible stores - i got my Tabi’s there and saved about $350 off the retail price! 5. try a few new snacks every day during the duration of your trip - this way you can find which snacks/flavors are your favorite, and *those* are the ones you can buy multiple of for the trip home! i didn’t do this and i regret it cuz there were some snacks i loved VERY much and i only bought 1, RIP ☠️ 6. skincare & makeup are everywhere, so buy as you go! focus on sunscreen and skincare bc those are the best and cheapest items compared to what’s available in the states (IMO) 7. buy luxury items in Japan bc the conversion rate from USD ➡️ YEN is great rn, AND they do the instant tax free refund at time of purchase (so no scanning receipts @ the airport!) happy traveling! ✈️🇯🇵🇰🇷 #japantravel #shoppingtips #southkoreatrip #tabishoes #viviennewestwood #maisonmargiela #delvaux #japanshopping #harajuku
