It seems like smiling photos at the camera aren’t the *cool* Instagram photos but I believe they are so important to have. Candids and posed images can co-exist in a wedding gallery 🤍 Here are some other things to look for when you are looking at a wedding photographer’s gallery and considering hiring them: 👉🏻 Consistency: Look at multiple weddings and galleries and make sure the photographer’s edit is consistent along with what each couple gets (don’t book just because you love ONE gallery) 👉🏻 Personality: Get on the phone with them to make sure you vibe well and feel like you would enjoy spending the day together 👉🏻 Storytelling: From a gallery, do you feel like you got the full picture of someone else’s day from the ceremony through the reception. Make sure you love all parts of the day, not just the portraits or the details.
