Hi everyone. . I bought this perfume 2 months ago but haven't made any post on it since then. So here's Turab Al Dhahab (TAD) by Ard Al Zafaaran. It means Dust of Gold in English. It is being reviewed in Fragrantica and even some of them mentioned TAD as the inspiration of Aqua Allegoria Coconut Fizz by Guerlain, if I am not mistaken that's how it goes the name of it😅. . It is kinda funny but at the same time I was like, "seriously?!!" right after my husband said this perfume smells like a bug spray/insect repellent🥴. But when I come to this perfume again and again, I need to agree with him but that's the case of an early sniffer!🤣. Again, THE NEED TO WAIT IS THE NUMBER-ONE PRIORITY🖐️. . On my skin, I am getting a mellow Citrus note which is fresh and sweet at the same time. I can't pinpoint the exact Citrusy note used. Then comes the White flower of mainly Jasmine and I guess, Lily flower is also present but within minimal touch. Again, I might be wrong with the Lily note. On the drydown, the smell on my skin is warm, creamy, musky, Vanilla and the Citrus scent remains noticeable. Coconut note is definitely there for that creamy part. I hope so it is LISTED. However, TAD isn't a true creamy or silky scented, I'd say. Turab Al Dhahab leans more of a DRY type and sits close to skin when it really dries/reaches the maximum drydown. . Now let's look at the notes. Tangerine, Lime, Bergamot and Coconut sits on top. Jasmine, Hibiscus, Ylang-ylang and Ginger are in the middle. Sugar cane and White Musk are at the base. I personally thought that this perfume is of a straightforward fragrance as the notes can easily be detected. But based on the website that I extracted, it's way different 🤔. On Fragrantica, it's the other way round and it's exactly like what I thought. . Longevity is quite impressive. It lasted for 8 hours on me. Presentation-wise, I love the outer box.
