I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who's read Finding Gene Kelly, and tagged me in reviews that are honestly more than I could ever dream someone saying about my book... I'm very self-conscious about my writing style since my favorite game is the comparison one when reading, and my friends are wicked talented, so my heart has been bursting. . I wanted to take a second to touch on something--before other people read it, a few people have mentioned the cover might not reflect the heavy nature of the book, and while I hope the TW/CW at the beginning catches most people, I wanted to note something. I think what a lot of people are noting as heavy is the inclusion of the chronic illness, and how Evie deals with it, so to me I never thought of it that way because, well, it's my life too... and I don't generally go around thinking my life is heavy. But I also don't want to catch people off guard, so please, please, please read the TW/CW and just remember, that yes, endometriosis carves its way into so many facets of a person's life, but also--a huge part of this book is about still finding the beauty in life when a chronic illness is involved.
