Swipe to see the ‘before’ shot✨ I don’t always under expose this much but if you’ve got something particularly bright in the shot and everything else is not lit up it pays off to do it this way because it’s the only way to capture the light. Then you can brighten the rest as I have in editing! It can be difficult and sometimes you may not realise you’ve missed out detail until you look back at them so my rule of thumb is if ever in doubt always under expose as trying to salvage an over exposed photo is never a good time.
