This is a special shout out to @juliannenicholsonofficial. From day one Julianne took the time to get to know Lily. In one of their first conversations I remember Julianne saying, “ Are you nervous Lily? I feel nervous. “ Those words allowed Lily to feel safe with Julianne. Lily realized that even big actresses still get those butterflies in their stomach when they start a new project. Julianne made filming these scenes fun for Lily. ( hard to believe when you see the film I am sure). Lily always felt safe and comfortable and Julianne made sure of it. If she hadn’t taken the time to bond with Lily, her experience would have been completely different. I am thankful that she made sure to establish that trust. Julianne is not only a spectacular actress but a truly special beautiful human. We will always be grateful. Their scenes together were dark. The story they shared was horrific. And it’s Terribly sad to think about the children that for them this is their reality. They have had to endure experiences like this.
