Best Winter Waterfall Hike In Washington State⁣ ⁣ I love this trail so much! But it is very long for a winter hike. Bring good shoes or snowshoes. I have done this hike in the winter twice. The first time it was absolutely miserable! The snow was melting and it started pouring during the hike and waterfall looked brown and not frozen whatsoever. One of the worst hiking experiences of my life.⁣ ⁣ After two years I finally decided that it was time to try it again. I went a day after a winter storm hit and I knew that if it did rain it was cold enough to be snow. Conditionswere perfect!⁣ ⁣ Please note there is a BIG difference between the summer hike and winter hike. Do not get confused. We saw a car stuck on the winter route one year. I don’t think they knew they were supposed to walk not drive on the road in the winter. ⁣ ⁣ 📍 Franklin Falls Hike⁣ 🏔Mileage: 6.9 miles, roundtrip⁣ 🥾 Elevation Gain: 816 ft. / 248 m⁣ ✨ Difficulty: Moderate⁣ ⁣ Before setting out on any winter hikes suggested by anyone on the internet make sure to do your own research! Winter hiking can be very dangerous, due tohypothermia, avalanches, and tree wells.⁣ ⁣ > DISPOSE OF WASTE PROPERLY DO NOT⁣ LEAVE TRASH ON TRAILS.⁣ > RESPECT WILDLIFE AND DON’T FEED THEM.⁣ > BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHER VISITORS. ⁣ ⁣ 📌 Washington 🇺🇸⁣ ⁣ 📸 Thank you @thewanderingqueen for your informative reel!⁣ ⁣ ✅ Wanna get featured?
