there’s an undeniable power in vulnerability new work by @wardkweskin agency: @minellimanagement —— i’ve been returning to the things that bring purpose to my life again. i’ve been writing music again, doing test shoots again, singing again, teaching voice lessons to new students again, moving my body again, loving again, reading poetry again, journaling again, re-connecting with who i am holistically again. it’s been invigorating to create again; it’s been a relief to have the emotional capacity to create again. this season reminded me that no matter the detour, i’ll always return to my alignment again, and again, and again. the past two months have been a time of revisiting projects and deepening old and new relationships within my community. a return to the collaborative human interaction that’s a requirement for me to thrive. i’m realizing my purpose during this time was to create, connect, and surrender - and the “surrender” is always testing. it takes a certain amount of trust, patience, and vulnerability to submit to your path. and it often feels like a caring yet insistent push from the universe to trust yourself. “trust yourself.” perhaps that’s the loudest message, the most important reminder.
