By Foot: Part 1 We knew it wouldn’t be easy. Down stream was cliffed out and deep, the start of world class drift boat fishing but impossible to wade. Upstream is where we were headed, there was a bank-but also snakes. We’d been told that if you walked the bank, through high grass and boulders, you were all but guaranteed to run into a rattle snake. So we took the hard route, pushing against the current over slippery boulders and through waist deep muck. But to fish this alone, it was worth it.
