One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in 626 for Hủ Tiếu and Bún Riêu is Mien Tay in El Monte. The broth is flavorful and clean and the noodles are perfectly cooked. Another absolute must at this spot is the Bánh Mì Xíu Mại Chén aka the pork meatball Banh Mi. This one is served not as a traditional sandwich but as a deconstructed loaf of warm crisp French baguette with a baked meatball and egg...trust me, it’s delicious. They also have many other typical Vietnamese dishes like egg rolls, spring rolls and pho.
