Not sure which brush is best for you? I have all six of these in heavy rotation for various used:
1. @tangleteezer - Cleverly designed to fit comfortably in the hand without a handle means it’s compact and discreet. The bristles are firm but flexible which makes it perfect for dry detangling
2. @noknotco - The bristles are attached to separate rings (?) of the hairbrush which makes it incredibly flexible and gentle; if the brush hits a knot it just seems to stop. I have used this for wet detangling for years and have recommended it to so many people. This brush was gifted (no obligation to post)
3. @briogeo - My go to for brush / ribbon styling. It has boar bristles to create tension and long bristles to keep the hair detangled
4. I got this from Amazon and use the flexible silicone teeth to massage my scalp to stimulate blood circulation. I also use this when I clarify my hair to ensure I remove all build up
5. Also from Amazon, I use this if I want a slick bun / ponytail look as it smooths out my hair and melts the strands together better than a regular bristle brush which can leave the hair looking bumpy and piecey. I would recommend the @briogeo with its mixed bristles for brush styling over a 100% boar bristle brush as it doesn’t have the detangling element
6. @tangleteezer - A miniature version of the classic version that comes with a case to protect the bristles and the contents of your bag. I keep this one in my gym bag
Have you tried any of these? If you found this helpful save this post for future reference 🤍
