When you’ve been forced to start again, failure is no longer like fear of reaching the other side of the ocean. Failure becomes allowed 🌊 When you have lost everything, you are no longer afraid to stumble. Any step is a step forward 🧗‍♀️ When you have survived, the only version of failure that becomes intolerable is one that involves not being authentic 🫥 Today I took a satisfying long look out over Hope Valley from the peak of Mam Tor at the patchwork of fields dotted with sheep and cows. I’d come very far 🗺 It was liberating to manage this beautiful first hike in the wondrous Peak District ever since chemotherapy left me ragged. I was never sure I would ever manage such walks again 🐄 Whatever it is you want to make a start at, start again with me.
