I don’t plan it — I’ve tried. I’m not that kind of artist. I don’t make studies before I start. I think we all carry a quiet possibility to access something innate and uncomplicated that knows what’s right and what’s wrong. My work begins there. It’s a daily decision to return, to follow what comes next. It keeps me open — and I love that it can’t be measured or planned, because in the end, it’s faith.
