This is Marianna Voss, a Dutch cyclist who won Olympic gold in 2008. This year for the very first year, the Tour de France has offered a Women’s version for the very first time in its 119 year history. Ms. Voss won the second stage today earning the yellow jersey at the age of 35. Most men have retired at that age but Voss when she learned her childhood dream of a Tour de France for women would be a reality, decided to enter.
