Tonight a box score almost moved me to tears which would definitely have been a first. My guy @jacobsmax00 has had the most unlucky athletic career ever.. In HS he tore his ACL not once, but twice.. We met when he trusted me with his training coming back from the second and he came back a monster and was unanimous first-team as a LB for WLHS.. In college Max has lost his first season to a broken wrist and then a second season to a rare Liz-Franc Fracture in his foot which is a 12-month recovery.. This year I was able to train Max briefly this summer and today was the season opener for him and his Bowdoin University Bears. Max was dominant today with 12 tackles including 4 for loss.. A truly dominant performance from the safety position! Few people know what it’s like to return from a season ending injury.. Max has done it FOUR TIMES!! Max you’re a an absolute dog and seeing that box score made my weekend. You’re a shining example of what determination and discipline can accomplish. Proud of you ✊🏼
