Super Mario World theme but it’s Lil Darlin’ by Neil Hefti. I’ve always wanted to arrange something for @the8bitbigband in the style of this Count Basie classic and this Super Nintendo anthem fits the bill perfectly! Here’s a little preview of the band laying it down, amazing how these cats can just come together as a section and sight read something and phrase so smoothly together as one unit! That’s some true NYC professionalism right there!!
