I’m wrapping up work for the year on a high note with this portrait I shot in Dublin with @damiendempseymusic Anyone who knows me well will know Damo is one of my favorite artists alive today. His music has a rare vibration & energy to it that’s hard to put into words. His songs have helped me & so many navigate life’s ups & downs. He’s an incredible songwriter & a gent. An intimidating fucker when you first meet him but one of the kindest & realest people you’ll find. Thank you Damien for all that you do & thank you @abbeytheatredublin for trusting me to create this artwork for “Tales from the Holywell” - a musical journey directed by Conor McPherson that explores Damien’s life. It opens on the Abbey stage on the 30th of January 2023. I’m checking out of insta until February to recharge for the year ahead. Mind yourself. Much love ❤️ Rich
