I attended my first #CCMAAwards thirteen years ago. I had just started writing my own songs and sat in the seats and dreamt of what it would feel like to be up there someday. Truly still processing all of this, but last night in Calgary was beyond anything I’ve ever imagined... I’ll never forget this night 😭♥️ So proud to be a part of the Canadian Country music community. So grateful for the village of amazing people I get to work with. None of this would be real at all, if you guys weren’t listening to my songs and buying a ticket to a show. You have made my wildest “maybe someday” something real. I love travelling around playing songs for you and coming together through shared emotions and stories with you guys. And I can’t wait to keep taking in the moments of where this adventure takes us next. To anybody thinking you’re crazy for imagining something that feels so far away, doubting and wondering if you’re good enough, feeling the sting of closed doors and not yets, please keep going. Keep trusting your gut and your heart and know that I’m cheering for you and sending all this love I’m feeling from you guys, right back to you. ♥️
