Paris on film (pt. deux) Slides 1, 3, 5, 7: at the Musée Rodin. It was all so perfect. The art, the gardens, the space! Sculpture really speaks to me. It’s two things: 1) I have been sculpting since my teen years, so it has been an active outlet of creative expression. 2) It’s the most natural form of art. The mediums range from clay, mud, stone, etc... Having the gift of being able to work with your hands is truly remarkable and powerful. This is something I wake up grateful for everyday! Slides 2, 4, 6: at the Atelier Brâncuși. This needs no explanation. This is sculpture at its finest. Simple, yet extremely moving and soft, yet very hard. Constantin Brâncuși is one of my all time favorite sculptors and I was not missing the opportunity to see his work before my eyes. It’s truly timeless and so incredibly well finished. What is most astounding is what artists of yesteryear were creating before the modern technology we have today. Now of course, the main event, my outfit: Dress, shoes, and bag all @chanelofficial Skirt: vintage #EmanuelUngaro Accessories are a mix of @isshi.us and vintage For those wondering, all these photos were shot on an Olympus Stylus 120.
