Whenever I find that certain words trigger me, or cause me to feel fear, anxiety or lack...I change it. When building wealth, you want to operate from a path of least resistance...and just because the phrase or words are used often, it doesn’t mean you have to use it. I want to represent abundance. I want to feel joy. I want alignment, therefore how I speak and think need to align with that. The word “budget” is a widely used concept, but it never motivated me. I never got excited to build a budget. And...if I made one I NEVER followed it 🤦🏾‍♀️ “Broke” was something I never want to feel or be aligned with. So instead of using the old lingo, I just began shifting and creating my own. If there are bills, terms, and habits that don’t feel good...then why not change your perspective. ...and one way to do that is to change your words.
