Going to the gym or practicing yoga always makes me feel good. Whenever my mind starts to create a loop of negative thoughts, I release it so I don’t carry the heaviness that the mind can bring. I suffer from high level of anxiety. There, i said it! Everyday I battle heaviness. I am not put all together all the time. Behind my smiles, inside my head can be a lot. I honor it and find ways to regulate myself. At times, my friends and family are not around to support so I find ways to support myself. And yes, it is mantra I have to remind myself, that I feel good not to hide my feelings but to remind myself, I can feel good too. It doesn’t have to be in a gym or a yoga studio. Find the kind of movement that works for you. It can be a dance, running, walking, sports, anything. Don’t be afraid to reach out to trusted people who understands you the most and can support you. To all those battling something inside, you are not alone! Kindness is 🔑.
