🤯 Did you know? 🧼 The more you shampoo your hair, the more oil your scalp thinks it needs to produce. That’s right, shampooing your hair too much CAN actually make your scalp oilier than it needs to be. It can also DRY your hair out and make those ends feel frizzy and thirsty. ❔ How can you fix this? Training the scalp is the best way. Start by shampooing every other day. Once you feel comfortable, you can try every couple of days. 🤔 Something to think about when you do shampoo your hair is to focus on your scalp area. You may need to shampoo your hair a couple of times if it doesn’t lather enough the first time. Keep that conditioner on the mid shaft to the ends. 👉🏻 I recommend using a clarifying shampoo or scalp scrub first and then a different shampoo second. Again, this can be different for everyone. (A scalp scrub should only be used once a week, maybe twice depending on the product) !!️ DISCLAIMER- this may not work for everyone. Some people just have oily scalps and need to shampoo everyday. Everyone is different 🫶🏻 Did you learn something new? Do you shampoo your hair everyday?
