⭐️Homecoming Recap⭐️ We did it!!! The last nine month I have spent so much time with my team planning and organizing this week! We had a ton of obstacles to overcome, but in the end we pulled it off. I cannot express my gratitude for this team enough. From long meetings to listening to my fever dream inspired plans, they have done so much for this week. If you supported me in anyway through this journey THANK YOU!!! It means so much to me to have been the Executive Director of @ocu_homecoming I had two goals for Homecoming this year. 1) make homecoming fun for the entire campus community, 2) give back to the community. This year our organizations completed over 2,300 service hours in okc!! On top of raising over 3,000 books that are going to be donated to children’s resources throughout OKC. Something I haven’t shared much is my passion for children’s literacy. So many things in life are predetermined by reading as child. Therefore when my team decided to have a book drive I jumped on board immediately. I am so incredibly thankful for everyone who donated and helped in anyway to Homecoming. This has truly been on of the most life changing experiences I have ever had.
