I never thought I needed this event in my life, until we started it last year! As Aussies you thrive for adventure, hence a lot of the reason a lot of us move over to LA. But true to our core we love that community and mateship that we grew up with. @stweedie and I came up with this idea with @skyeofthetiger__ after her charity event last year in SD... some drinks may have been involved!!! Last year we planned it in 6 weeks. This time we had a year!!! There’s so many incredible people that help to make this event happen. My fav moment of the event is still the same every year, people unwrapping the presents, the Aussies belting out the songs, the American mates and international mates reading the lyrics - laughing, hugging and having fun. We raise money for @australianwildlifeconservancy and help the animals from our mother land. That makes me even prouder to be a part of this! Ok this is enough mushiness! But what an epic day surrounded by amazing humans from all around the world! And I’m already thinking of what to do next year...
