@ishinomakilab participated in DESIGNART TOKYO 2022 @designart_tokyo at an old ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurant) site in Akasaka, Tokyo, where 7 designers presented their new prototypes. Returning to the origins of workshop-based design that began 11 years ago, the designers were invited to Ishinomaki to work closely together on the design process. Through communication among designers and craftspeople, 11 different designs were created through a process of trial and error to create engaging and easy-to-use products. The collection envisions the products to be placed at Ishinomaki Home Base, a guest house located near Ishinomaki Laboratory.
