I wrote an essay about growing things / my @hellhillel for @theplantmagazine and @stef_mitchell came and took these pics of us at @forgeprojectny where we’re helping to build this outdoor kitchen. This was the first time I fired the oven after curing, and I baked some pita breads with melting dough. Before the roof went on and the floor went down. The buckwheat cover crop was still up in the field (a few days too far gone) and the sun felt hotter than the oven and i was wearing my antifa jeans and D’s hair was very long.
