Today is the last day to visit the 2022 Serpentine Pavilion (@serpentineuk) in London, designed by Theaster Gates (@theastergates)! Set within Serpentine’s grounds in Kensington Gardens, "Black Chapel" draws inspiration from the architectural typologies of both chapels and the kilns of Stoke-on-Trent, England, paying homage to British craft and manufacturing traditions. Gates discussed the fuel for his imagination, creativity, and artistic practice in a conversation with Sir David Adjaye OBE (@adjaye_visual_sketchbook) and Hans Ulrich Obrist (@hansulrichobrist), which took place in the pavilion this summer.
