Perfect pairing: Sour Cherry Rye Sour & Clams Casino 🍸 Who said Rye can’t be a summer drink? We teamed up with @gabe_kennedy to make a refreshing sour with @oakandeden’s Rye & Spire and paired it with classic, stuffed clams. Great pairings are made by echoing and contrasting flavors. The Sour has bright citrus notes that compliment the smoke of the rye and bacon and harmonize with the zest and lemon in the clam. Adding an egg white gives it a bit more body to hold up to the richness of the clam, butter, garlic and shallots. This is a match made in heaven. Recipe 2oz @oakandeden Rye & Spire .75 oz macerated sour cherry .75 oz lime juice 1 egg white Dry shake all ingredients till egg is frothy. Add ice and shake vigorously until cerybcold.
