I get to hang out with my three best friends every day. I get to see them grow up. I get to introduce them to God. I get to help them make sense of the world, friends & new things. I get to hear their little feet patter towards my bed in the middle of the night to cuddle up because they feel safe. I get to say sorry every time I slide into impatience & I get to encourage them to have a correctable heart. I get to learn how to do this mom thing. And one day I’ll learn the areas of their childhood I could’ve been better in and the areas they thought I was a rockstar in. I get to love these little three.
