Congratulations to all of the designers participating in the @kbshowhouse in Dallas which opens this week! As you surely know, the Kips Bay Showhouse @kbshowhouse is an event near and dear to my heart. Each year, and now in 3 different cities (New York, Palm Beach, and Dallas), dozens of designers come together to design beautiful and inspiring rooms for the Showhouse whose primary focus is to raise funds for tens of thousands of underserved children. Sadly, this year’s Dallas Showhouse has been forced to decrease the number of days it will be open from 30 to just 4. As someone who has participated in @kbshowhouse twice, I know how much it takes to bring a Showhouse room to life— frankly, a lot of time, energy, stress, and money on behalf of designers and sponsors. Please consider buying tickets or making a donation to this incredibly deserving cause that is now in trouble. If you’re able to visit the Showhouse while it’s open from September 22-25, please show your support and encouragement to the designers and @nhandalp without whom the showhouses would not be possible!
