This is my mother, who in the last week showed such strength and dignity You would not believe. I am astonished at your presence and grace in the face of your mothers death. I am completely in awe of your prowess . Kings would literally throw down their armies and give up their lands in the face of such strength. You remind me of the “she wolf” , Isabella of France , queen of Edward the second. I always thought you could run an empire or be the ceo of a huge company. You didn’t because you prioritised your second husband and actually brought up 6 very independent children, three that were not your own. You are an ox mother with butterfly wings. I have been completely blown away by you this week. Your mum would be so proud of you. Here is to women and strength we men know very little about. Xx
