The first photographic proof that I have started surfing again. It’s been 15 years since I’ve actually stood on a board and actually surfed. It’s been difficult due to the range of motion limitations with my right leg which has been through it’s fair share of physical punishment and injuries. One compound fracture of Tibia and Fibula, one torn ACL, one fractured patella, one torn plantar fascia, numerous MCL tears and tons of rolled ankles. Needless to say, I’m stoked I can still jog on that right leg. With all that being said, I’m having a blast paddling around, eating shit and occasionally getting a fun one! Thanks to all my friends @wacosurf_tx who have encouraged me to keep after it!
